At Broomhall Under 3s, our experienced and caring team is at the heart of everything we do. Each member of staff is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where your child can grow, learn, and thrive.
We take pride in building strong, positive relationships with children and their families, working together to make every day at nursery happy, engaging, and full of discoveries.
Our team holds recognised early years qualifications, follow Ofsted standards, and regularly take part in professional development to ensure the highest quality of care.
Thresea Fletcher
Nursery Manager, SENCO LeadTheresa has been part of Broomhall Under 3s for 24 years and has served as Nursery Manager for 11 years. In her role, she combines hands-on nursery work with the day-to-day management of the setting, overseeing everything from staff allocations to recruitment.
Passionate about Early Years education, Theresa loves seeing the difference the nursery makes for children and families. She enjoys being involved in the daily life of the nursery while organising her team and resources to ensure the highest-quality provision.
Outside work, Theresa enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, exploring new places together, and has a fondness for stags.
Josina Mayard
Deputy ManagerJosina has worked in childcare since 2012 and has been part of the Broomhall Under 3s team for 2 years. She is responsible for a small group of key children and works closely with the wider team to provide a high-quality learning environment for all children. Josina has also recently taken on the role of Deputy Manager and is working alongside one of the nursery directors on the nursery’s climate action plan.
Her favourite part of the role is seeing children’s joy when they realise an adult is genuinely interested in them and their ideas. She enjoys creating magical moments and providing the best opportunities to support children’s learning and development.
Outside of nursery, Josina also works as a nanny for 2 days a week.

Julia Smith
Julie has worked at Broomhall Under 3s for 9 years, training on the job to achieve her Level 3 qualification. She loves the variety and rewards of her work, finding it fulfilling to make a difference for the children and families she supports. Outside the nursery, Julie enjoys spending time with her two boys, family, and friends, and loves music, socialising, dining out, and taking her spaniel Frankie for adventures in the woods.

Lula Nasher
Early Years PractitionerLula has worked in childcare for 2 years and is the EAL Champion at Broomhall Under 3s. In her role, she supports children who only speak their home language and helps them feel confident and settled as they begin learning English at nursery.
She enjoys building positive relationships with all the children and creating a warm, welcoming environment where they feel happy and supported each day.
Outside of work, Lula enjoys spending time with her family and her cat.
Nada Jama
Early Years Practitioner, Outdoor Environment LeadNada has worked in childcare for 4 years and enjoys building strong connections with children while supporting their growth and development. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, visiting the library, going for walks, and exploring new places.

Georgia Dobbs
ApprenticeGeorgia is an apprentice at Broomhall Under 3s and supports children in their learning and play, taking satisfaction in watching them develop their skills and independence. Outside of work, she enjoys horse riding, walks with her puppy Hugo, and spending time with family and friends.
